Fisch, Alon

Alon Fisch, MRSS/CRPR is the  Founder and Executive Director of New Beginning Sanctuary (NBS), a faith based nonprofit sober living program for men and women. NBS  has grown to 16  homes/140 beds in Springfield and Joplin, with plans to expand into other areas of Missouri. In 2016 Mr. Fisch, in Partnership with Better Life in Recovery and Jericho Commission, opened the first Recovery Community Center in Springfield Missouri that focuses on education, advocacy and social activities. Springfield Recovery Community Center has helped meet the ever-growing need in Springfield and the surrounding counties for healthy activities and resources for those in recovery. 

In 2017 Mr. Fisch initiated the Recovery Ride Network in Springfield Missouri; a safe sober ride sharing company that helps provide affordable transportation to appointments, work or court. Mr. Fisch is on the Housing Committee and Executive Committee of the Missouri Coalition for Recovery Support Providers and has been instrumental in getting Missouri to adopt NARR (National Alliance of Recovery Residence) standards throughout the State for safe and ethical sober housing.
