Reed, Bobbi Jo

Bobbi Jo Reed is a person in long-term recovery with 23 years of continuous sobriety. She has provided safe, transitional housing for over 6,000 individuals in the last 17 years. She has a passion for helping others and was created to devote her life to those suffering with substance use disorders. She is the Founder/Director of Healing House Inc, which currently houses 188 adults and 30 children. She is the Chair of the Kansas City Recovery Coalition, a Mental Health First Aid trainer, Trauma Informed Care Instructor, Narcan Trainer, a member of the Missouri NARR housing task force, a Certified Peer Specialist and a Medicated Assisted Recovery Specialist, the 2018 Mental Health Champion and a member of the Missouri Division of Behavioral Health Advisory Council.
