How and why we need to ask “What happened to you?” instead of “What’s wrong with you?”. We will explore how trauma affects a person’s life and using compassion as a key to being trauma sensitive. We will discuss triggers and their effects on us and the people around us; whether it’s a co-worker, a friend, or a stranger on the bus. Participants will be presented with trauma sensitive tools to use in their everyday lives.
