Toni Jordan is a champion of recovery for 13 years and counting. She became a Certified Missouri Peer Specialist in 2009 and became a trainer in 2011. She has worked with St. Louis Empowerment Center, Queen of Peace Center, BHR (Behavior Health Response), and presently at Gateway Housing First. She is also the Women’s Support Coordinator for Let’s Start. Toni Jordan is a grateful recipient of the Mental Health Champion award in 2011, the 2012 Recovery Advocate of the Year, and the 2014 The Voice Award from SAMHSA. She serves as co-chair for DBH-State Advisory Council for Comprehensive Psychiatric Services and has a seat on the board of directors for St. Patrick Center. Toni has earned the following credentials: Missouri Recovery Specialist -P (MRSS-P), Certified Missouri Peer Specialist (CMPS), Family Support Provider (FSP) and Missouri Associate Alcohol and Drug Counselor (MAADC).
