Stacey Williams is the State Suicide Prevention Coordinator for the Missouri Department of Mental Health (DMH). She serves as the Project Director for the Show Me Zero Youth Suicide Prevention Grant and is the suicide prevention expert for DMH. Stacey has a Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology and a Master’s Degree in Social Work, with an emphasis in Policy, Planning and Administration from the University of Missouri. She is one of two nationally certified Advanced Level WRAP® Facilitators in the state of Missouri. Stacey has over ten years’ experience working in the mental health field and working specifically with WRAP®. Not only has she developed and implemented many of her own WRAP®s, but she has also been providing trainings and technical support on WRAP® throughout her career. She brings forth experience in state government, residential settings and community mental health settings as well as experience in both policy and clinical practice. Stacey is passionate about prevention and recovery as well as helping people through the process of bringing about systems change. She believes that everyone has the ability to recover and live a fulfilling life. Stacey believes WRAP® is not just a program, it’s a way of life!
